TRX TranscriptionPro (TPro) is TheRecordXchange®'s AI-assisted transcription product. It produces a first-pass draft of a proceeding with speech-to-text, then routes that draft to a certified court reporter for review and certification. The result is a faster path to the certified record, with the same person signing off on it.
What TPro is
TranscriptionPro brings together the two halves of producing a transcript: a speech-to-text engine that drafts the record, and a certified court reporter who reviews and certifies it. The software handles the typing-intensive first pass so the reporter can spend their expertise on review and judgment instead of transcription.
How it works
- Start from the recording. TPro works from the court's existing recording of the proceeding, so there is nothing new to install in the courtroom.
- Draft in minutes. VoiceCopy™, the speech-to-text engine inside TPro, turns the recording into a working draft built for the way proceedings actually sound: multiple speakers, legal vocabulary, and courtroom noise.
- Review and certify. A certified court reporter reviews, corrects, and certifies the transcript. The reporter stays in control of the record at every step.
- Finish in your tools. TPro can export an RTF/CRE file, so a reporter completes the transcript in the software they already use rather than starting over.
Why it matters
Demand for transcripts has outgrown the pool of court reporters, and producing each transcript from a blank page is slow work. TPro changes how the work gets done. Reporters review a draft instead of retyping from scratch, so courts can clear backlog without adding headcount.
What stays the same
TranscriptionPro is a first-draft tool. A certified court reporter reviews, corrects, and certifies every transcript before delivery. The human-in-the-loop certification requirement does not change. TPro makes the reporter's job faster; it does not replace the reporter.
Availability
TRX TranscriptionPro is available to TheRecordXchange courts starting in March 2026. Existing customers can add TPro to their transcript workflow. To see it on a recording from your court, request a presentation.
